Ministries/Departments of Gateway Community Church

It is the goal and aim of every ministry of Gateway Community Church:

1. To be an asset and a credit to the Heavenly Father as Co-laborer and joint heir with the Lord Jesus Christ in assisting the Pastor in spreading the Gospel.
2. To be an asset and a credit to the Body of Christ through the promotion of brotherly love, Christian camaraderie, and fellowship.
3. To be an asset and credit to the Pastor and congregation of GCC in assisting him in meeting the spiritual needs and operational demands of the Ministry for both partnership and guests alike.
4. To be an asset and a credit to oneself by developing spiritual stability through continuous study and application of the Word to one's life.

Business/Administration Ministry

The Business/Administration Ministry exists to handle all business affairs of Gateway Community Church with excellence, accuracy and order. One of its main functions is to promptly and skillfully tabulate all funds that come into Gateway Community Church and all of its affiliate ministries. The Business/Administration Ministry is responsible for the management, reporting and accounting of all financial resources, property and personal assets of the ministry. 

Fine Arts Ministry

The objective of the Fine Arts Ministry of Gateway Community Church is to present the message of Jesus Christ for the purpose of restoration, empowerment, and edification.

The goals of the Fine Arts Ministry are:

1. To be an asset and a credit to the Heavenly Father as Co-laborer and joint heir with the Lord Jesus Christ in assisting the Pastor in spreading the Gospel.
2. To be an asset and a credit to the Body of Christ through the promotion of brotherly love, unity, and fellowship.
3. To be an asset and a credit to oneself by developing spiritual stability through continuous study and application of the Word to one's life.
4. To be an asset and a credit to all by doing everything in a spirit of excellence, knowing that whatever is done it should be done in the name of Jesus.

The Fine Arts Ministry includes the following departments:

• Praise and Worship Team
• Psalm 100 Choir
  
• Spirit of David (Praise Dance)
• Media Ministry

GCC Student Ministries (Faith Kidz, and Next Level Teens)  

The goal of the "Faith Kidz" ministry is to develop in members of this age group (0-10) a solid, biblical foundation in which  they can build their lives on.

The goal of the "The Next Level" is to successfully maneuver the teens of Gateway from childhood to adulthood, providing them with the tools needed to be productive in life. (1 Tim. 4:12)

• To share the gospel of Jesus Christ to youth in a way that they would be able to receive and relate to others.
• To assist youth in their growth process through thought provoking examination of the word.
• To assist youth in effective decision-making and goal setting, enabling them to better deal with the issues that confront them.
• To provide a social and recreational outlet for youth in an environment centered on the word.
• To enhance the overall work of Gateway Community Church by careful incorporation of an exciting Youth Program into GCC.

Intercessory Prayer Ministry

The purpose of the Gateway Community Church Intercessory Ministry is to ensure that all areas of our Church are covered with prayer continuously.  The members of the Intercessory Prayer Ministry not only pray for the pastors, leaders and partners of Gateway Community Church, but also for the nations, leaders/kings, governments and authorities. 

Ministry of Helps The Ministry of Helps at Gateway Community Church is the consolidation of various groups of born-again, spirit-filled individuals, forming a nucleus surrounding the Pastor and his assistants to aid them in meeting the operational demands of the Ministry and the spiritual needs of the people who participate in the worship, study and social activities of GCC.  The purpose and function of the Helps Ministry is threefold: To assist the Pastor in carrying out his God-given vision in spreading the Gospel, including the eternal salvation, divine healing and health, the full operation of the gifts of the Spirit, as well as spiritual and earthly prosperity. To work, share, and participate together with the Pastor as one body, "for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ. (Ephesians 4:12-13) To support the Pastor's vision by setting a good example to those in and outside the partnership of GCC through a consistent display of spiritual strengths, moral fortitude, and personal integrity  The Pastoral HELPS Ministry includes the following departments: Ushers Greeters Ordinances (Lord's Supper, Baptisms) Partner Services Hospitality Transportation Ministry Gateway Community Church is committed to providing transportation for partners and friends of the ministry for Sunday morning worship as well as Thursday night bible study.  Transportation is also available for other church related activities, as deemed necessary by the Pastor.
